Big Stone City School Administration Introduces New Members of Staff
When the majority of Big Stone City School’s 88 enrolled students returned for classes on August 31, they found new faces among the staff members. The families of four students elected distance learning, so those students are not on site.
The new staff members include Hannah Rick, who is a 2016 graduate of Milbank High School. She earned her degree in education from Southwest Minnesota State University, graduating in May of this year. Teaching fourth grade on and Rick is excited. “I love that I am able to be in such a little community with amazing support,” she said.
Also a Milbank High School graduate, Christina (Christy) DiNatale, is working as a preschool paraprofessional at Big Stone. She was formerly employed at Sioux Falls Amazing Lash Studio and Design Electronics in Ortonville and Milbank.
Kerstin Cooper is a paraprofessional in special education. She is originally from Rand, CO, and previously worked at Cenex in Milbank and at the Little Lions Learning Center in Big Stone City. Her family includes a month-old son.
Arlo Anderson is serving as a part-time custodian.
