Town of Twin Brooks Council Proceedings

 

The Town of Twin Brooks conducted its monthly meeting October 13, 2020 with Wiseman, Wellnitz and Porath in attendance. Porath called the meeting to order.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

A motion was made by Porath and seconded by Wiseman to approve Finance Report.

TWIN BROOKS, A POLITICAL 

SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA

RESOLUTION

IT IS RESOLVED, on motion made by Perry Porath, and seconded by Roger Wellnitz, a resolution passed by unanimous votes recorded by Wellnitz, Porath and Wiseman, all board members of the Twin Brooks Town Board, a political subdivision of the State of South Dakota, that, Brian Wiseman, the Mayor of Twin Brooks, a political subdivision of the State of South Dakota, be and he hereby is authorized and empowered to contract to sell on such terms and conditions as to he may seem proper, land, or so much thereof, or any right in and to said land, owned by Twin Brooks, located in the County of Grant, State of South Dakota; it being the intention of this board to authorize Brian Wiseman, the Mayor of the City of Twin Brooks, a political subdivision of the State of South Dakota, to hire a real estate agent for the sale of surplus property, to enter into a Purchase Agreement to sell all or any portion of the lands of the City located in the County of Grant, State of South Dakota, and, without limiting its general authority, he is specifically authorized and empowered to enter into a contract to sell the same in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in a Purchase Agreement to be filed with the business records of the City.

Bills to be paid: Grant Roberts Rural Water 48.00; Otter Tail 258.96; Grant County Review 18.13; Coester Schwandt Law 187.50.

Meeting was adjourned and seconded. Next meeting is set for November 10, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.
