NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR THE

GRANT ROBERTS RURAL WATER SYSTEM - SCADA SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

The Grant Roberts Rural Water System (GRRWS) is proposing to construct SCADA improvements to its water distribution system. The GRRWS is seeking up to $900,000 of funding from the Board of Water and Natural Resources. The funds could be either grant from the State Consolidated Water Facilities Construction Program or a loan from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program. The expected DWSRF loan term is 2.125 percent for up to 30 years, and the Board of Water and Natural Resources may forgive all or a portion of the loan principal. The amount and source of funds will be determined by the Board of Water and Natural Resources when the application is presented at a scheduled board meeting.

The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss the proposed project, the proposed financing, the source of repayment for the loan and to receive comments regarding the application from members of the GRRWS. The meeting is open to the public and interested persons are encouraged to attend.
