ADJUSTMENT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on February 8, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse and over teleconference via Zoom to consider in full or in part the following proposed Variance Application request from Blue Sky Hutterian Brethren Colony on the following legal description: SW1/4 of Section 19-119-47 of the 5th p.m. Grant County, South Dakota.

• A Variance, Pursuant to Section 1208: Shelterbelt Setbacks. The applicant, Blue Sky Hutterian Brethren Colony, is requesting a variance to plant a 3-row shelterbelt with the windward row closer than 160’ from the 158th Street and 484th Avenue right of ways.

Based on current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, this meeting will be held virtually over a tele-conference platform. All persons interested therein may participate in the hearing. Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Auditor at karen.layher@grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the County Auditor at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on February 5, 2021. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on February 5, 2021.
