Looking for a blind date for Valentine's Day?
Blind Date With a Book is New Program at Grant County Library
To celebrate the upcoming Valentine’s Day on February 14, the Grant County Public Library in Milbank is encouraging area readers to have a Blind Date With a Book. A special display of sure to be loved books is set up at the library. Each book, has a word associated with Valentine’s Day in the title. The catch is, each book is wrapped with the titles hidden.
Patrons are asked to stop by the Grant County Public Library and make a Blind Date With a Book selection. Each checked out Blind Date With a Book comes with a registration slip for a special Valentine’s Day gift. The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the program on Thursday, February 18.
“Upon check-out, readers may find love with an old flame they have read before, while others may find a new passion for a book which takes them outside the box,” said Jodi Carlson, library director.
