The administration of Milbank School District has scheduled registration for the 2021-22 school term for Wednesday, August 4, from 8 to 6 p.m., and Thursday, August 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration for all grades will be done in the Milbank Elementary School gymnasium.
In addition, the public is invited to participate in a self-guided walk through grand opening of the new Milbank Elementary School on Wednesday, August 4, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Since the school was under COVID-19 restrictions last year, many have not had the chance to see the inside of the facility.
As part of the open house, staff from Valley Queen Cheese will serve cheeseburgers/grilled cheese meals in the parking lot from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 5:45 p.m. Donations given for the meal will go to the Bulldog Booster Club. Milbank’s Special Olympics team will host the Malt Wagon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A free-will donation will be accepted for each malt. See the ad inside to learn how to preorder malts.
Whether students attend registration on Wednesday or Thursday, they will be expected to have their school photo taken at that time. Look inside this issue to find the complete information needed to be prepared for registration.
