February 7, 2022

Meeting called to order at 5:30 P.M.

Board Members Present: Travis, Nicole

Others Present: Tom, Stacy, Bob

Minutes of January meeting read; correction: 2nd reading of the Special Bed, Board, Booze and Ticket Sales Tax (21-02) was read at the January meeting. Motion to accept January minutes by Nicole, 2nd by Travis. 

Old Business: 

Chuck discussed concerns of water loss within the town at March meeting – no updates at this time. 

Discussion on town ordinances continued; Board Members and April will continue researching. 

Discussion regarding obtaining a City Attorney; research to continue for next meeting.

Some maintenance needed to pump house; someone planning to complete the work.

Payment box was purchased and will be placed on community hall for monthly payments.

COVID money is available to Town; funds declined by unanimous vote.

No other old business.

New Business: 

Discussion regarding water concerns with snow melt at Bob’s, Travis will investigate. 

Bob brought up concerns related to new homes potentially built in Marvin; $25 fee for building permit. Also discussed concerns related to water hookups for new build- Board will follow up with Chuck regarding concerns. 

No other new business.

Bills: Ottertail: TBD; Grant Co Review: $20.98; SD DOH: $15; Chuck: $92.35; April: $323.22 - Motion to pay bills by Nicole; 2nd by Rodney. 

Motion to adjourn by Nicole, with 2nd by Rodney.
