ADJUSTMENT ON A VARIANCE

 

 

 

 

 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse Community Room (basement) to consider in full or in part the following variance request by D & L Mertens, of 47873, 152th Street, Milbank SD, 57252, on the following legally described property: BERKNERS 2ND ADDN LOT 3 LOT, Section 12 - T120 - R49 of the 5th P.M., (Grant Center Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

• Variance Application, VAR02222022, A front yard, and side yard, setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.2 requiring a minimum 100-foot front yard setback and a 50-foot side yard setback.  The variance, if granted, would allow the applicant to place a 50’ x70’pole building with a 50’ x 32’ addition 65 feet from the south front yard setback and 30 feet from the west side yard setback.

Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us  or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer Auditor at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on April 8, 2022. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on April 8, 2022.
