SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY

BIG STONE CITY SCHOOL

DISTRICT #25-1

The Big Stone City School Board has two vacancies per SDCL 13-8-23, and plans to appoint a new member(s) to fill that vacancy at the June 27, 2022 meeting. Those interested in school board membership must be a resident voter of the school district, and may hold no office, the duties of which are incompatible or inconsistent with the duties of a school board member. Application materials for the position must be picked up in person and are available at the school district office at 655 Walnut Street, Big Stone City, SD 57216

Application requirements include a letter of interest, personal resume and completion of a series of questions relating to school board activities. The deadline to complete and return application materials to the School District office is 3 PM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

• Completion of the attached questions
