HAY AVAILABLE ON WILDLIFE REFUGE
Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge, located in Lac qui Parle and Big Stone counties, MN, will be allowing hay cutting on a number of sites on the Refuge for 2022. Haying on the Refuge is used as a management practice to aid in the manipulation and improvement of grassland habitat. Hay units will be available for cutting on August 1, 2022. Individuals will be selected based on receipt of sealed high bid per hay unit.
Sealed bids must be received by the Refuge Office no later than noon, July 22, 2022.
