Council Proceedings

The LaBolt Town Council met July 5, 2022 at the LaBolt Hall. Present were Jon Wold, Larry Erp and Barb Ellingson. Danny Berglund, Jan Zuver and Kristin Gortmaker were guests.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund: Brookings Deuel $28.00;; Grant Co Review $28.97; Otter Tail Power (sign) $7.35; Otter Tail Power (street lights) $217.89; Otter Tail Power (LaBolt campsite) $37.00; Sioux Valley Co-op $83.43; Roy Stolpman $493.20; Barb Ellingson $32.65; Trapp Plumbing $107.10; Border Lake Ins. $4,198.00; Elite Drain & Sewer $400.00.

Kristin from housing and development told us how there is a need for housing in the area due to the expansion of the cheese factory.

There was discussion on the rezoning of lots. This was tabled for now.

We discussed the need to spray for mosquitoes and flies at the park and in town. Larry will take care of this..
