NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

ON A VARIANCE

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 4:00 pm in the Grant County Courthouse Community Room (basement) to consider in full or in part the following variance request by Shane Zemlicka on the following legally described property: LOT 1 SHANE ZEMLICKA SUBDIVISION IN NE1/4 Section 24-120-49 of the 5th P.M., (Grant Center Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

• Variance Application, VAR03232023, A side yard setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.2 requiring a minimum 50-foot side yard setback and a rear yard setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.3 requiring a 50-foot rear yard setback. The variances, if granted, would allow the applicant to place a 32’ x 56’ shed 15 feet from the west property line and 25’ from the south property line.

Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on May 5,2023. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on May 5, 2023.
