NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE DRAINAGE BOARD ON

PROPOSED DRAINAGE PERMITS

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 8 a.m. at the Grant County Courthouse to consider the following Drainage Permits. The requests, if granted, would control erosion.

1. Permit DR2023-18 for Gary Harms, of 14331 477th Ave, Milbank, SD 57252, for property owned by Sheri Tumlinson of 3820 Ranch Rd 2341, Burnet, TX, 78611, and located in the NE1/4 of Section 10, Township 121, Range 48, (Melrose Township), west of the 5th Principal Meridian, Grant County, South Dakota.

2. Permit DR2023-19 for David Schneck, of 47747 153rd St., Milbank, SD, 57252, for property owned by David L. Schneck Real Estate LTD Partnership, (same), and located in the NW1/4 of Section 3, Township 119, Range 48, (Vernon West Township), west of the 5th Principal Meridian, Grant County, South Dakota.

3. Permits DR2023-20, DR2203-21, and DR2023-22 for Chris Zubke, of 14405 479th Ave, Milbank, SD, 57252, for adjacent properties owned by Kelvin Korth, of 1327 Cherry Dr., Watertown, SD, 57201, and located within the S1/2 of Section 17, Township 120, Range 51, (Lura Township), and in Section 28, Township 120, Range 52, (Mazeppa Township). Both townships are located west of the 5th Principal Meridian, Grant County, South Dakota.

All persons interested therein may appear and be heard before the Drainage Board at said hearing or may file written comments with the Planning & Zoning Officer, Acting as Drainage Administrator, 210 E 5th Ave, Milbank, SD 57252 prior to said hearing.
