Milbank City Council Proceedings – August 10, 2023

Call to Order - The City Council met in special session at 2 p.m. in the Visitor Center, 1001 East 4th Avenue.  Mayor Raffety presiding.  

Roll Call - Mayor Raffety. Councilmembers: Mike Hanson. The following members were present by teleconference: Roger Briggs, Josh Karels, Mindy Rogers, Craig Weinberg, John Weyh. Absent: none.

Present from the staff: Mark Reedstrom, Cynthia Schumacher and Brandy Blauert.

Public Present: Holli Seehafer.

Executive Session – A motion was made and seconded to go into Executive Session pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(1), Personnel. Motion carried 6-0. Councilman Karels left the meeting at 2:45. Mayor called the Council out of Executive Session at 2:57 p.m. No action was taken.   

Adjourn –The next regular meeting will be August 14, 2023. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn. Motion carried 5-0.
