NOTICE AND CALL FOR BIDS

Waverly School District is seeking sealed bids for snow removal services at Waverly-South Shore School, a K-12 public school located at 319 Mary Place, Waverly, SD. The District seeks a reliable and professional snow removal service provider to assist in keeping our grounds clear of snow and ice during the winter months. The services required include, but are not limited to:

Snow plowing: Clearing parking lots, driveways and main entrances promptly during and after snowfall events.

Sanding: Applying sand to address ice accumulation in parking lots and driveways upon request of school administration.

Emergency Response: Being on-call 24/7 to respond to unexpected snowfall and ice conditions. Must be able to conduct snow removal even if main traffic arteries (ex. I-29) is closed in order to allow school to function as soon as possible after snowfall.

Proposal Submission: Interested parties are requested to submit a comprehensive proposal by 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023. The proposal should include the following information:

• Service Details: Describe the specific snow removal services you can offer, including equipment and methods used.

• Pricing Structure: Provide a detailed pricing structure for your snow removal services, specifying an hourly rate for each piece of equipment to be used and any associated labor rates.

Monthly billing is required.
