NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE GRANT COUNTY

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. in the Grant County Courthouse Commissioners Chambers (2nd Floor) to consider in full or in part the following request for a conditional use permit (CUP) by Lenny Stahl, DBA Dakota Storage Buildings, on the following legally described property: LOTS 2 & 3 RIGGIN AIRPORT ADDN IN GOVT LOT 1 OF NW1/4 EX LOT H1 IN LOT 2; LOT 4 RIGGIN AIRPORT ADDN IN GOVT LOTS 1 & 2 and LOT 5 OF RIGGIN AIRPORT ADDN Section 7-119-48 (Vernon West Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

· CUP12052023, Amendment to Conditional Use Permit CUP12202001; Pursuant to Section 1102.03. Conditional Uses in the “CI” Commercial/Industrial Zone – Use #20 Light Industrial. The applicant, Lenny Stahl DBA as “Dakota Storage Buildings” is requesting a conditional use permit for “light industrial – Storage Building Manufacturing”. The amendment to the original CUP will include approval of a new site plan with minimum area and setback regulations to be determined by the Board of Adjustment.

In the event of inclement weather the joint public hearing will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the same location identified above.

The application and other associated written materials are available for public review at the Grant County Courthouse and at http://association.

Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on January 12, 2024. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
