ORDINANCE # 2024-01

 

AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL AND REPLACE SECTION 1106 FLOOD PLAIN PREVENTION ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 2004-01, AS AMENDED, OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF GRANT COUNTY.

Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 2024-01, an ordinance repealing and replacing Section 1106 Flood Plain Prevention Ordinance Adopted by ordinance 2004-01, as amended of the Zoning Ordinance of Grant County was duly adopted by the Grant County Board of County Commissioners on the Sixth day of February 2024. The effective date of this ordinance is March 11, 2024.

  The ordinance repealed the existing language of Section 1106 and replaced it with a new comprehensive regulation relating to the adoption of new flood plain maps and associated flood and land use policies.

  NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that Ordinance #2024-01 will be made available for public inspection at the Office of County Auditor during regular business hours and also on the following website: https://association.

1stdistrict.org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/  

Per SDCL 7-18A-5, this Ordinance shall become effective 20 days after the last publication of this notice which will be published once a week for two successive weeks in the official newspaper thereby repealing all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith unless a referendum is timely involved prior thereto.
