NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

ON A VARIANCE

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 4 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse Community Room (basement) to consider in full or in part the following variance request by Brian Granquist on the following legally described property: Lot 1 of Granquist Addition in SE1/4 of Section 2-118-50 of the 5th P.M., (Troy Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

Variance Application, VAR01302024, A front yard setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.2 requiring a minimum 100-foot front yard setback. The variance, if granted, would allow the applicant to place a new house approximately seventy (70) feet from the 471st Avenue right-of-way.

Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on March 8, 2024. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on March 8, 2024.
