LaBolt Town Council Proceedings January 5, 2026
The LaBolt Town Council met January 5, 2026 at the LaBolt Hall. Present were Jon Wold, John Wollenberg, Kenny Wold, Larry Erp, and Tiffany Leonard.
The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m.
The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. Financial report was given and approved.
The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund; Otter Tail Power (street lights) $198.74; Otter Tail Power (fire hall) $93.53; Otter Tail Power (sign) $6.25; Brookings Deuel Water $36.00; Northwestern Energy $12.00; Grant County Review $16.07; Quickbooks $29.46; Nationwide $100; Town of LaBolt (Sewer) $312; DANR $75; SDML $105.00; Grant County Weed Board $130.00; Valley Office Products $183.38; Jonathan Wold $49.25; and Larry Erp $128.26. The following bills were approved for payment from the sewer fund; Elite Drain & Sewer $370.00.
We discussed the old business of selling the four lots in LaBolt and reported on the steps at the dam by the spillway.
We discussed the new business of no board vacancies, no raises for the 2026 year. Attorney for the year 2026 is Foley & Foley Law Office, P.C., and bank for the year 2026 is Wells Fargo. We also discussed the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan 2026-2031 and it was approved.
Larry made a motion, Kenneth seconded, and Jon adjourned the meeting.
Next meeting will be Monday, February 2, 2026 at 7 p.m.
