Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Board Members Present: Travis, Rodney, Matt Others Present:
Minutes of December meeting read; no additions or corrections. Motion to accept December minutes by Travis, 2nd by Rodney.
Old Business:
Grant Roberts Rural Water will be contacting all residents regarding easements. If any residents have questions or have not been in contact with Brent, you are welcome to contact him at the office. Town Hall rental is FREE WILL offering. Contact April or a Board member for rental. Rotten trees in the park – Bids received for 10 trees removed from Jorgensen Tree Service,
Nick’s Tree Service and Brus Custom Services. Swenson was also contacted but no bid was received at the time of the meeting. Bids reviewed. Motion to accept bid from Brus Custom Services by Rodney, 2nd by Matt.
Generator battery to be replaced this week. No other old business.
New Business:
Discussion regarding Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan 2026-2031. Motion made by Rodney to adopt the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan 2026-2031 (Resolution #2026-01-01), 2nd by Travis; motion accepted.
Request by April to contact ACT Tax Services for assistance and forms for the 2025 tax preparation. – Motion by Travis, 2nd by Rodney
No other new business.
Bills: Otter Tail: $57.83, $73.55, 171.93; Grant County Review: $62.54; SD Workers Comp: $519.00; SD Dept of Labor & Regulation: $25.00; Whetstone Sanitation: $189.64; Chuck: $92.35; April: $323.22; All January bills to be paid, then reported at next meeting- Motion to pay bills by Rodney; 2nd by Travis.
