The Corona Town board met Monday, January 5, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Members Settje, Schultz and Settje were present. Also present was Mark Schuler and Harris Harms. Aaron Miller and Trent Bruce from DGR joined by phone.
Jerry Settje called the meeting to order.
Schuler addressed the board with questions on a culvert and the status of the main street lights. Otter Tail has been contacted and they hope to install by the end of the month.
The service agreement from Dakota Pump and Control was reviewed. Jerry Settje moved to accept the agreement, seconded by JoAnn Settje. All voted in favor.
DGR representatives presented information on future projects with leftover funding.
Schultz moved to designate the Grant County Review as the official newspaper for the town. Seconded by JoAnn Settje. All members voted in favor.
Resolution 010525c, A RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL TO CERTAIN DRINKING WATER FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS; GIVING APPROVAL TO THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF A REVENUE BOND TO FINANCE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, THE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FACILITIES; APPROVING THE FORM OF THE LOAN AGREEMENT AND THE REVENUE BOND AND PLEDGING PROJECT REVENUES AND COLLATERAL TO SECURE THE PAYMENT OF THE REVENUE BOND; AND CREATING SPECIAL FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF FUNDS FOR OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM AND RETIREMENT OF THE REVENUE BOND AND PROVIDING FOR A SEGREGATED SPECIAL CHARGE OR SURCHARGE FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE BONDS was presented. JoAnn Settje moved to approve the resolution, seconded by Schultz, all voted in favor.
