NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
ON A PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on April 6, 2026, at 6 p.m., in the City Offices, 1001 E. 4th Ave., Milbank, SD 57252 to consider in full or in part the following proposed variance requested by Joel & Barbara Ronallo.
The request, if granted, would allow a second accessory structure to be placed on the property and reduce the west setback from 8 feet to 2 feet. Chapter 17.24 addresses accessory structures and Chapter 17.09 addresses setback for accessory structures in the R1 zoning district. The property is identified as 312 Gause Ave, Parcel # 26.32.06.06, HIGHLAND HEIGHTS ADDN LOT 6 & W 1/2 OF LOT 7 & N 20’ OF LOT 15 BLOCK 6 City of Milbank, South Dakota, Zoned R1 Single Family Residential District.
To address the Board of Adjustment, any property owner or their designee in the City of Milbank may notify and provide feedback and any materials to the Zoning Officer by noon on the Friday before the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Adjustment, this allows adequate follow-up time to address received feedback.
