Also present: Beth Hills, Mike Schmidt, and Kaitlyn Christofferson.
At 6 p.m. Chairman Amdahl called the meeting to order. No conflicts of interest were recognized.
Public Communications: none.
26131 Motion by Miller Second by Zirbel approved the amended agenda to add contract approvals. All voted aye. Motion carried.
26132 Motion by Zirbel Second by Bronson to approve May 13th, 2026, regular meeting minutes. All voted aye. Motion carried.
26133 Motion by Bronson Second by Miller to approve the financial statements. All voted aye. Motion carried.
26134 Motion by Zirbel Second by Miller to approve the monthly claims for the month of June 2026. All voted aye. Motion carried.

Superintendent Report: Mr. Schmidt updated the board on becoming board consultant for NTHS, the Special Education RDA - Level 2, Drivers Ed beginning in July, the Comprehensive Special Ed. Plan, year end sign of, consolidated application, lead testing, class of 2021 can get their permanent records before July 31st. Summit School has the following job openings: Special Education Teacher/Director, Athletic Director, Asst & JH FB Coach, Head/Asst/JH VB Coach, JH Boys & Girls BB Coach, Paraprofessionals, and Bus Drivers.
Business Manager Report: Mrs. Christofferson reported COD maturation, OST has begun and is averaging 34 students a day. Summer Food Service has begun; breakfast is averaging 38 meals and lunch is averaging 66 meals.
26135 Motion by Miller Second by Bronson to approve asst kitchen contract Penny Cardwell $17.43/hr, Summer OST Coordinator Tasha Zirbel $16.00/hr, Summer OST Teacher Scarlett Renville $15.00/hr. All voted aye. Motion Carried.
26136 Motion by Bronson Second by Miller to approve resignation of Mike Schimdt as head track coach and JH Football Coach and Sarah Strang as JH GBB Coach. All voted aye. Motion Carried. The board thanked them for their service.
26137 Motion by Zirbel Second by Bronson to table the milk bid. All voted aye. Motion Carried.
26138 Motion by Miller Second by Zirbel to approve comprehensive special education plan. Motion Carried.
26139 Motion by Zirbel Second by Bronson to adjourn the meeting at 6:34 p.m. All voted aye. Motion Carried.
There will be a special board meeting on June 23rd at 8 a.m. in the school library.
The annual budgetary meeting is on Wednesday, July 8th beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the school library.
