NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at or after 4 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse (basement) to consider in full or in part the following Conditional Use Permit application from Scott Snoozy on property described as: W1/2SW1/4NW1/4 Section 25 Township 120 Range 51 (Mazeppa Township).
· Conditional Use Permit CUP-06112026, Pursuant to Section 1101.03.18: Conditional Uses in the “A” Agricultural Zoning District #18 – Extended Home Occupation. The applicant, Scott Snoozy is requesting a conditional use permit to operate an Extended Home Occupation – Retail Firearms Sales.
All persons interested therein may appear and be heard before the Board of Adjustment at said hearing. The application and other associated written materials are available for public review at the Grant County Courthouse and at http://association.1stdistrict.
org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/. Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on July 17, 2026. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on July 17, 2026.
