Call to Order – The Milbank City Council convened for a working session at 7 a.m. on September 10, 2026, at the Milbank Visitor Center, 1001 East Fourth Avenue. Mayor Mike Hanson called the meeting to order. Councilmembers Roger Briggs, Ryan Gruba, Josh Karels, Mindy Rogers, and Kyle Schwandt were present. John Weyh was absent. Staff members in attendance included Steve Pendergrass, Cynthia Schumacher, Jeremy Breon, Darin Thiele, and Corey Hooth.
The council held an informal discussion regarding the proposed water system improvements and corresponding rate increases.
A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:12 a.m. Motion carried.
