Milbank School Musical Concerts to Air Online
The Milbank Middle School and Milbank High School bands and choirs will present their annual Christmas concerts this week in the Milbank High School gymnasium.
The sixth, seventh and eighth grade groups will perform on Thursday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. The high school musicians will share their music on Sunday, December 13, at 2:30 p.m.
The concerts will be aired live on the Milbank school’s Facebook page. “Please tune in to see and hear the musicians in action,” urge the directors. The school’s present activity attendance policy limits attendees to parents only. There will be an admission fee for the Sunday’s concert.
The middle school ensembles, under the direction of Miriam Schwenn and Susan Karels, will feature each grade level performing a variety of holiday favorites.
The high school groups, conducted by Schwenn, Karels and Kristi Seehafer, will share seasonal melodies, familiar carols and original tunes. Instrumental features, soloists, and the Chamber Singers, are among the mix of each large group’s presentation.
