Laura Homan of Beardsley, MN, joined the staff at Johnson Family Dentistry as a dental hygienist in May of this year.
Homan received her expanded functions dental assisting degree from Lake Area Tech in Watertown.
Numerous vehicles that were parked with the doors left unlocked have been rummaged through and items taken from them in recent weeks. “Please do not leave money, guns or other valuables in your vehicles,” Boyd VanVooren, Milbank police chief, advises.
United Hardware was recognized as the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce 2019 distinguished business of the year. Bobbie Falk, left, accepted the award on behalf of the local facility. The award was given in appreciation of the firm’s exceptional community involvement.
During the annual meeting of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, the membership was introduced to two new members of the board. They are Matt Scott, who is employed with State Auto, and Dwight Sampson from United Hardware.
South Dakota State University in Brookings announced the names of graduates for the spring 2019 session. The names of honor graduates marked with WH designate graduation with honor; WHH, with highest honor; CL, cum laude; MCL, magna cum laude, and SCL, summa cum laude.
