JOINT PUBLIC HEARING

ORDINANCE #835

A TEMPORARY ORDINANCE

REGARDING THE ISSUANCE

OF LOCAL MEDICAL CANNABIS ESTABLISHMENT PERMITS AND/OR LICENSES

The City of Milbank Planning Commission and the Milbank City Council will hold a joint public hearing on May 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Milbank City Council Chambers located at 1001 E. 4th Avenue, Milbank, SD. All interested persons are encouraged to attend in person and comment on Ordinance #835, a temporary ordinance regarding the issuance of local medical cannabis establishment permits and/or licenses. After the public hearing, the Planning Commission may pass a resolution recommending approval of Ordinance #835, with or without amendment, to the Milbank City Council. The Milbank City Council may have first reading of Ordinance #835 by title and set a 2nd reading date.

The proposed Ordinance #835 will be made available for public inspection at the Milbank City Office at 1001 E. 4th Avenue, Ste. 301, Milbank, SD, and on-line at www.milbanksd.com pursuant to SDCL Section 11-2 and amendments thereto.

Written comments may be filed by emailing the City Administrator at cityadministrator@milbanksd.com or by mailing them to the City Administrator at 1001 E, 4th Avenue, Ste. 301, Milbank, SD, 57252 on or before noon on May 24, 2021.
