A hearing will be held by the Roberts County Planning and Zoning Commission in the Commissioners’ Room at the Roberts County Courthouse at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026.
To consider a request for Conditional Use under the Zoning Ordinance.
The request is made by James Nitz.
For the purpose of: Mr. Nitz wishes to build a 48x80ft, 24ft tall oversized shed on his property (parcel #13609). The proposed structure will exceed the maximum dimensions (40x60ft with 16ft sidewalls) for accessory buildings on backlots in the Lake Front Residential District, as revised by Ordinance #35. The proposed structure will comply with established minimum setbacks. Per Section 903.5, revised by Ordinance #35, signatures from adjoining property owners are required for an oversized building CUP in this zoning district.
