REQUEST FOR PLANNING

PROPOSAL

The City of Milbank, South Dakota, will accept proposals from qualified engineering firms for planning services for proposed development on the Milbank Municipal Airport, Milbank, South Dakota. Proposals will be accepted until May 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m., and are to be submitted to: Milbank City Office, 1001 E. 4th Ave., Ste 301, Milbank, SD 57252. Please submit 4 copies for the selection committee.

Planning Services are for airside improvements for the period of years 2021 through 2025. Multiple scopes of work could include but are not limited to:

• Airport Master Plan Update

• Environment Assessment for Partial Parallel Taxiway and Hanger Area Expansion

• Geotechnical Exploration and Wetland Survey for Turnaround Reconstruction

Proposals shall set forth qualifications, as noted in the “Consultant Selection Criteria for Airport Projects” to accomplish engineering services for the period of years 2021 through 2025 at the Milbank Municipal Airport. Copies of the “Consultant Selection Criteria” for this airport project can be obtained at the Milbank City Office, 1001 E 4th Ave, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252.

The selected firm is encouraged to obtain DBE Engineering Services or provide “Good Faith Efforts” for this project.
