Ricky Bohn, age 59, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Twin Brooks, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at a Sioux Falls care center. He was a Milbank High School graduate.
Francis “Slim” Jurgens, age 81, of Ortonville, MN, died on August 2, 2019, at a Watertown hospital following a surgical procedure and a fatal heart attack. He and his wife, Marylin, operated the Sears Catalog Store in Ortonville for many years.
Elsie Johnson Tennyson, age 100, of Fargo, ND, former resident of Milbank, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at a retirement community in Fargo. Elsie and her late husband, Dr. Edward Johnson, lived in Milbank for 50 years where she was very active in community events.
Frances Kunde, age 99, of Milbank died on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the Milbank hospital. She was married to Kenneth Kunde, and was a former Visiting Neighbor Program employee.
Carol J. Wellnitz, age 71, of Twin Brooks died on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at the Milbank hospital. The wife of Roger Wellnitz, she worked as a CNA and also at United Hardware in Milbank.
