Country music performers Tennessee Ernie Ford, LeRoy Van Dyke, Jerry Reed and Hank Williams, Jr., all have one unexpected thing in common – the Suns of the West, a band that got its start in Milbank, served as their opening act in the late 1960s and 1970s.
