Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for nearly 69 million Americans will increase 1.6 percent in 2020, the Social Security Administration announced.
The Grant County Public Library can assist area residents interested in becoming bilingual in Spanish and English. The Friends of the Library recently donated additional bilingual Spanish/English books to the library thanks to a donation received from Valley Queen Cheese Factory in Milbank.

Just as area farmers got started with the 2019 soybean harvest it was cut short because of the rain the area received late last week. “Things are going kind of slow and yields have been lower than last year for soybeans across the board,” said Joe Meyer, location manager at West-Con.
