The Dakota Hills Grizzlies football team dropped a 40-20 decision to Britton-Hecla and the Waverly-South Shore Coyotes football squad fell to Clark/Willow Lake 44-6 Friday, October 4, in area football action.

It was a busy week for the Milbank Area girls volleyball team as they hosted Sioux Valley and Ortonville, MN, and then traveled to Hayti to face off against Hamlin and competed in a Dakota Valley tournament where they placed seventh.

The Dakota Hills Grizzlies racked up seven rushing touchdowns (TDs) in their dominating 49-8 win over Waverly-South Shore on Friday, September 27, at Waubay. The Grizzlies improve to 3-2 on the season and the Coyotes fall to 1-4.
The Milbank Area girls tennis team dropped matches to Aberdeen Roncalli and Central Tuesday, September 24, and swept Yellow Medicine East Monday, September 30, in Milbank.

The Wilmot Wolves volleyball team earned a 3-0 win over Britton-Hecla Monday, September 30, at Wilmot. Set scores were 13-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-15 and 15-12.
