The Milbank Area Bulldog football team suffered a 43-6 routing at the hands of Tea Area Friday, October 18, at Tea. The Bulldogs finish the season 2-7 overall.
The regular season came to a close for the Dakota Hills and Waverly-South Shore football teams, but the Dakota Hills Grizzlies have earned a berth in post-season play. They will face Hamlin at Hayti on Thursday, October 24.
The Milbank Area football team suffered a 30-0 loss at the hands of Dell Rapids Friday, October 11, in Dell Rapids. The Bulldogs faced a 14-0 deficit after the opening quarter and trailed 22-0 at the half time break.

The Dakota Hills Grizzlies football team dropped a 40-20 decision to Britton-Hecla and the Waverly-South Shore Coyotes football squad fell to Clark/Willow Lake 44-6 Friday, October 4, in area football action.
